The tender reaction of a litter of Golden Retriever puppies to the words of a toy dragon: "They are adorable"

The use of toys for children with pets is becoming more and more common. In this sense, we are not referring to dolls or action figures, plastic building blocks, but rather those that have a greater educational or companion component. Stuffed animals are usually a good resource that generates viral images every time they appear on platforms, but one of the latest examples goes beyond what could be expected.

He shared it through his TikTok profile Smilius TV, an account dedicated to spreading positivity to all corners of the Internet thanks to his daily pet videos. One of the last ones that went viral for weeks was the one that showed a small group of Golden Retriever puppies listening attentively to the story of a stuffed dragon. The toy with speaker explained the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.

His name is Dalton, the storytelling dragon, and he is developed by the American company Cuddle Barn, based in the city of Los Angeles. He is a lilac dragon capable of telling up to five different stories thanks to his magical backlit book. In addition to Jack and the Beanstalk, his repertoire includes Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, The Ugly Duckling and Sleeping Beauty. Both the company's website and Amazon offer it for 37.95 euros.

The video of the puppies has accumulated more than 118,000 likes, as well as more than 1,300 comments, among which are hundreds of tender reactions to the images. “The first one is going to be scientific. He pays attention but he is also curious,” one of the commentators jokingly noted. “The fact that they came together like school children to listen, like a teacher telling a story, I find fascinating,” indicated another user.

“The puppies would be thinking: 'in our past lives we heard that dinosaurs and dragons were monsters... well, they were very wrong!'” “Great, now I have to add to my wishes that I return in another life as a dragon.” stuffed lilac” or “I also have one of those stuffed dragons, I'm going to put it on my puppy as soon as I can” are some of the most notable comments.

The existence of this type of stuffed animals and interactive toys dates back to none other than 1877, when Thomas Alba Edison created a doll with a removable phonograph that allowed its users to play a song. One of the most recognized examples in Spain is Yano, Bizak's storyteller. It enjoyed multiple advertising campaigns in the early 2000s and currently allows you to interact with the stories through a mobile application.
