The Mega Pubilla of the LGTBIQ collective

I have captured this series of photographs for La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos of the Colors on tour through Girona. It is a series that travels through Catalonia to meet the people who work to make visible the struggles and realities of the LGTBIQ collective.

It is a production of the Local Audiovisual Network, which, over the course of 12 episodes of 27 minutes, invites you to travel with the comic star La Mega Pubilla and the journalist and nephew of the artist, Roger Font Montornés.

Both will speak with Victòria Monique, Bru Madrenas, Alba Vilas, Oriol Maurici, Hugo Marlo, Silvia Rodriguez, Fina Campàs, Alexandre Sanz, Vidda Priego, Ramiro Marocchi, Francesc Soler and José Antonio Torre del Ser.

In Girona, the protagonist is Bru Madrenas, writer, historian and social educator. He is a trans and non-binary person who firmly believes that education is a tool to change the world. Additionally, he is the author of Transgresors.

The snapshots show us some moments from the recording of the Girona chapter, with La Mega Pubilla and Roger Font Montornés as the main protagonists.
