In the United Kingdom they are willing to open the thunder regarding Kevin Spacey. And next week, Channel 4 will premiere the documentary series Spacey Unmasked, which aims to examine the career of the two-time Oscar-winning actor and also his fall from grace after the torrent of accusations of sexual abuse. “Men will speak on-the-record about their experiences with the acclaimed actor,” the first trailer reveals.
The production will arrive less than a year ago since an English jury found Spacey “not guilty” of the accusations of four men. Three of them described him as a sexual predator who had touched them without consent, while a fourth explained that he had gone to Spacey's London apartment seeking professional advice and woke up to the actor performing fellatio on him.
During the trial, Spacey drew the attention of the courtroom and the media by tearfully recounting that his “world exploded” with the accusations leveled against him during the American movement.
It should be remembered that, if he was fired from the series House of Cards after five seasons (with Robin Wright starring in the last episodes alone), it was due to more accusations made against him in 2017. A production assistant said that he had suffered sexual harassment for part of the actor and, among the erroneous behaviors, it was speculated that he had sexually assaulted one of the production's drivers.
One of the most controversial accusations belongs to another working actor, Anthony Rapp, known for his leading role in Star Trek Discovery and current board member of the Hollywood actors union, SAG. He reported that in 1986, when Spacey was 26 years old and he was 14 years old, he tried to sexually assault him at a party when they were both working on Broadway. He took the accusation to court but in October 2022 the jury found Spacey "not guilty."

And, although the American Beauty and The Usual Suspects actor has had luck in court so far, we will have to keep an eye on the documentary series. Could you bring new accusations against Spacey?
