Since 2020, Noodle has been Jacklyn's faithful companion, always alert to detect any medical emergency. When Jacklyn decided to take on the challenge of earning an MBA, Noodle became her most loyal study companion. "She was the first and only dog to walk to Purdue University's graduation this year," Jacklyn shared with The Dodo.
Accompanying her human companion to each class, Noodle not only became a familiar figure on campus, but also played a crucial role in Jacklyn's academic success. And this friendly Labrador retriever proved to be an invaluable companion on the arduous path to obtaining a university degree.
But Noodle's story doesn't end here. Along with Jacklyn, she ventured into an exciting internship at Walt Disney Imagineering, where she became the first Imagineer dog in Florida, according to reports from Disney Parks Blogs. Her passion for her work and her playful nature left an indelible impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
After completing their internship, Jacklyn and Noodle returned to Indiana to receive their diplomas. At the graduation ceremony, Noodle wore a tight black dress and a cap with her name adorned with a special tassel. "She enjoyed the celebrations after the ceremony," Jacklyn said, referring to how her daughter celebrated her achievement.
Now graduates of Purdue University, Jacklyn and Noodle reflect on their time together as graduate students. Through their experience, they have forged an unbreakable bond that transcends barriers between man and man's best friend. "We have another adventure right around the corner," Jacklyn wrote on Instagram, noting that their journey together is far from over.
