Karma Gyesera, the new high-performance electric sedan that will give a lot to talk about

A few years ago, most of the electrical innovations within the automobile sector attracted attention for being few in number. In recent times, this trend has completely changed and manufacturers are in full launch offensive. That is why capturing the interest of drivers is no longer an easy task if we take into account the multiple possibilities on the market.

However, there are models that integrate arguments so as not to go unnoticed. One of them is the new Karma Gyesera, a 100% electric sedan with an elegant design and its own character. The vehicle has two motors, one that drives the front axle while the second drives the rear axle.

Together, both engines deliver a total of no less than 598 HP of power and 940 Nm of torque. Such a level of strength makes the car capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. In addition, it must be considered that the Gyesera can reach a maximum speed of 217 km/h. With this data in hand, there is no doubt that it will be one of the great rivals of the Tesla Model S, which makes it a model to take into account.

The vehicle is supported by an aluminum structure and has carbon fiber and aluminum sports panels. Although reducing the weight as much as possible was one of the objectives, the truth is that the car has a weight of 2,404 kg, a figure that is not too ambitious for a car of these characteristics.

In terms of proportions, Karma's new creation measures 5.08 m long, 2.00 m wide and 1.33 m high, while its wheelbase is 3.16 m. If we take these dimensions into account, we are looking at a car almost as long as the Tesla Model S (which measures 5.02 m) but shorter than another of its possible competitors, the Mercedes EQS, which measures 5.22 m.

In order to assess the range of the new Gyesera electric sedan, it should be noted that it has a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 120 kWh thanks to which it can obtain a maximum range of about 400 km. The manufacturer Karma plans to build around 2,000 units in a period of between four and five years, so it is evident that it is not planned as a mass-selling car but as an exclusive limited edition proposal.

The brand has announced that production of the vehicle will start at the end of this year. Although pre-reservations can now be made, curiously the price has not yet been made public. However, it is expected to cost approximately between 160,000 and 207,000 euros depending on versions and finishes.

If you are interested in knowing more details about the Gyesera, destined to become one of the exclusive high-performance electric sedans that will be talked about the most in the near future, you just have to take a look at the video that accompanies this article.
