Income campaign calendar 2022-2023: these are the key dates of the declaration

This year's income campaign is already underway. The liquidation of the IRPF of 2022 has started this Tuesday, April 11. The machinery of the Tax Agency (AEAT) begins to turn with a campaign that will not be marked by major changes in taxation.

There are more dates that will have to be taken into account. After the starting gun, the usual procedures will follow, such as making an appointment for care in an office and preparing the statement over the phone. On April 30 the blind will be lowered.

The first key date has already occurred. Since March 8, taxpayers can request their reference number, which allows access to the procedure to make the declaration from home. And a couple of weeks ago, access to tax data was also activated through the official application of the Tax Agency.

The next day marked in red on the official calendar was this April 11, with the official start of the campaign. Thus, the declaration can now be submitted through Renta WEB, the AEAT online portal, and the official app.

May 3 will be the next point to take into account, since it will open the request for an appointment to be attended by phone. Just a couple of days later, as of May 5, assistance for preparation and presentation by telephone will begin, within the Plan Le Llamamos. With this alternative you avoid going to the offices of the Tax Agency, without unnecessary travel.

For those who are more traditional and prefer face to face, we will still have to wait. It will not be until May 25 when the deadline for requesting an appointment to be seen in an office of the Tax Agency or a collaborating entity opens. These appointments will begin on June 1, when the assistance for the preparation and presentation of the declaration in offices begins.

The last block of dates that stand out in the calendar lead to the end of June. June 27 marks the deadline for income direct debits to enter, while June 29 will be the last day to request an appointment to be attended. One day later, on June 30, the end of the campaign arrives, the last day on which taxpayers will be attended and they will be able to present the personal income tax statement.

Anyone who wants to clear up their doubts about what the result of their declaration might be like can carry out a simulation through the Renta Web Open portal.
