Yolanda Díaz affirms that Podemos has been in the agreement with the PSOE "from minute 1"

The second vice president of the acting Government and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, stated this Wednesday that Podemos has been "from minute 1" in the negotiation of the agreement that her party has reached with the PSOE to form a coalition Government.

Díaz has referred to this pact in statements to journalists in Brussels, where he is participating in the tripartite social summit in which the acting head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, also participates.

After signing that agreement this Tuesday, which she explained includes the initial document presented by Sumar in the negotiation, Díaz reiterated that they are going to work for Sánchez's investiture, something that she stated: "I am sure that we are going to achieve it." .

When asked if Podemos supports this pact, he stated that he has been aware of it. "We are negotiating with the entire Podemos parliamentary group from minute 1. Not only are they part of the decisions, but they know the scope of it," he stressed.

Díaz was responding in this way to the Minister of Equality, the podemita Irene Montero, who yesterday assured that her party has not been aware of the negotiations, thus avoiding evaluating the agreement until "reading the document." "We have to wait for the details of the agreement, which we do not know," said Montero, who added that "when we read the document we will be able to make a better assessment."

The vice president has justified that the agreement between Sumar and the PSOE does not refer to the amnesty because it is an agreement between two formations for a coalition government. According to her, she said, with the signed text "a step forward has been taken" and the Spaniards value it because it talks about their problems.
