The former Telecinco presenter revealed that when she was 9 years old she participated in a television contest, where she managed to come in second position. The little girl, who radiated happiness from all sides of her, decided to take the prize to Clara to show it to her classmates. ''I walk through the classroom door and suddenly no one is talking to me. I arrived so happy with my prize to share it with them and suddenly I found myself in a situation that I did not understand and the first thing I asked myself was "what have I missed and what have I done wrong," she said with tears in her eyes. .
After trying to talk to several colleagues without success, his tablemate told him: ''Don't talk to me, you're going to cause a problem for me.'' The 9-year-old girl went to her house sad for herself and without understanding anything. However, the situation became more complicated when she got physical: ''I remember being in the schoolyard and being hit by balls, or I remember one day when I even received stones, they threw stones. One day, Lara Álvarez accidentally discovered bad news related to her mother and locked herself in the school bathroom to cry. A classmate came to the bathroom to console her and ask for forgiveness, but what the journalist did not imagine was that that same girl was going to tell everything she had told her in the middle of class. ''I break down, I start crying, I leave class and then the world stops. After this, the phone calls to my house begin with threats, "we are going to tell your mother that you have told us what is happening," she said.
When her parents realized the situation, her mother tried to find a solution with a birthday party to which the girls who had started the bullying were not invited. ''No one came,'' she said. After the summer, Lara Álvarez changed schools, but she was greatly surprised when she met one of those girls in the same class. ''It was like a nightmare. I started having anxiety attacks, stomachaches, headaches...' she confessed.
