Prepare for the eDreams Half Marathon Barcelona by Brooks and the Zurich Marathon Barcelona 2024 with the official training plans

Prepare for the eDreams Half Marathon Barcelona by Brooks and the Zurich Marathon Barcelona 2024 with the official training plans

The end of the year is approaching in 2023. The moment when runners begin to plan and organize their great challenges for the following year. For this reason, the official training plans to prepare for the 2024 eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks (access the plan) and/or the Zurich Marató Barcelona (access the plan) are now available and begin next November 6.

The official training plan of the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks 2024 is designed in a 14-week format and with the following target times: 1h20', 1h30', 1h40', 1h50', 2h and 2h (finisher). It includes preparation to run the 100th edition of the Jean Bouin as a 10K test on November 26 (week 3), run some San Silvestre, also 10 kilometers, on December 31 (week 8) and attend the official training of the Barcelona average on January 21, 2024, which will consist of running between 12 and 15 kilometers at the target pace (week 11).

For its part, the official planning to prepare for the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2024 begins on the same day as the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks 2024, but its duration will be one more month, 18 weeks in total, designed for the following target times : 3h, 3h15', 3h30', 3h45', 4h, 4h15', 4h30' and 4h30' (finisher). It includes preparation to run the 100th edition of the Jean Bouin as a 10K test on November 26 (week 3), run some San Silvestre, also 10 kilometers, on December 31 (week 8) and attend the official training of the Barcelona average on January 21, 2024, which will consist of running between 12 and 15 kilometers at the target pace (week 11).

In addition, on February 11, participating in the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks 2024 (week 14) is included as a 21-kilometer training session. And, the following week, on February 18, will be the official training of the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2024, to travel between 28 and 32 kilometers at a target pace (week 15) and check sensations for the big day three weeks before March 10 .4 to have a realistic approximation of under what conditions the test is reached.
