Blaugrana triumph in Ona's scoring debut

Barça continues adding victories in its matches in League F and beat a newly promoted team like Granada 6-1. The team led by the Catalan Roger Lamesa was brave, but could not beat the current champions, who remain leaders thanks to the goals of Patri Guijarro, Ona Batlle, Salma Paralluelo, Mariona Caldentey and a double by Asisat Oshoala.

Jonatan Giráldez opted for an eleven full of rotations with the young Martina Fernández playing her second game as a starter with the first team. The defense of the Blaugrana subsidiary accompanied Mapi León at the back in the absence of Irene Paredes, with muscle problems. Players like Aitana, Alexia or Keira Walsh did not start at the start and in goal, alternating between Cata Coll and Sandra Paños, it was the latter's turn.

The Johan Cruyff crowd had not finished sitting down when Patri Guijarro sent a powerful shot close to the post that slipped through the Granada defense to make it 1-0 five minutes into the game. With the score in their favor, the Blaugrana continued their work by accumulating arrivals in Sandra Estevez's area, especially from Salma Paralluelo who had countless opportunities to expand the gap, but who lacked the spark to achieve them.

Catalan Roger Lamesa's Granada was a brave rival, a team with character, but Barça proved too much for this newly promoted team. Before reaching half an hour into the game, the second would arrive, the work of a stellar Ona Batlle. The Catalan full-back scored her first goal with the Blaugrana shirt, a well-deserved award for her great performance since her return to the club. Granada left him space and he did not waste it, he entered the kitchen and pierced the goal with a strong shot that put the cherry on top of the great game that the Maresme defense was completing.

Granada, with several well-known faces such as former Azulgranas Ariadna Mingueza and Ornella Vignola, did not lose faith. Lamesa moved the bench. Edna Imade acted as the expected stimulus. The Nigerian forward saw Paños ahead and tried to surprise her with a long shot, but the Alicante goalkeeper was able to deflect the ball just enough for it to go over the baseline.

Barça's response was immediate and came in the boots of the person who had looked for it the most in the first half, Salma Paralluelo who, after much trying, ended up finding the goal on a rebound after Martina's shot.

After the hour mark, Giráldez brought on Alexia, Aitana and Mariona, who scored 4-0 on the first ball she touched. The Balearic footballer was the most outstanding player since she stepped foot in the Johan Cruyff stadium, participating in Oshoala's double in the final stretch. Already in added time, Granada made up the score with a goal from Lucía Pérez that slipped through the hands of an unfortunate Sandra Paños.
