PP 145, PSOE 103: This is how the polls are for the general elections

145 deputies compared to 103. This is the electoral result projected by the latest Sigma Dos poll and for which the PP would achieve 34.6% of the votes compared to 27.6% for the PSOE in the next general elections on 23- J. This reflects that the conservative is a mobilized bloc willing to extend the partial dominance obtained in the recent regional and municipal elections.

This is the second installment of Sigma Dos for El Mundo and the results conclude that both PP and PSOE are growing thanks to the fall of the parties located on their ideological sides, although it should be noted that it was carried out before the Sumar and Podemos agreement and the tumultuous preparation of the socialist electoral lists. Two facts that, without a doubt, will move the needle in the progressive arc.

The clear winner of the poll is the PP of Alberto Núñez Feijóo. The Galician would achieve 34.6% of the vote -four tenths more than in last week's panel- and 145 seats -56 more than four years ago-. Five from the threshold of 150 from which the Genoa bridge of the world predicts that he could govern without having to depend on Vox.

Meanwhile, the PSOE would improve its results by almost two points (from 25.7% to 27.6% of the votes) with respect to the first survey, so that it would rise from 99 to 103 deputies.

Behind, the left grouped in Sumar fell from 14.2 to 12.6%, but would remain as the third party, with 33 seats. It should be emphasized that the survey fieldwork was carried out between June 5 and 8. In the midst of the negotiation process between Podemos and Sumar and after which the second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, has managed to adhere to up to 15 formations, including the residence. "This is the broadest and most plural agreement reached in the entire democratic stage in Spain between progressive and green forces," they highlight from the recently created platform.

According to the barometer, the sum of PP and Vox, which in last week's study climbed to 46.3%, grows slightly to 46.5%, although the party led by Santiago Abascal would achieve 11.9 today. % and 31 deputies, far from the 52 of the last general elections.
