The controversies in which Cándido Conde-Pumpido has been involved before being accused of an alleged sexual assault

The well-known lawyer Cándido Conde-Pumpido Valera has been involved in a new judicial framework, which directly affects him. The son of the president of the Constitutional Court has been released after being arrested last Friday for an alleged group sexual assault. For its part, the Prosecutor's Office had requested the imposition of a restraining order on the victim.

However, the magistrate of the investigating court number 44 of Madrid has released the lawyer, and the other two accused, without precautionary measures. "It seems incredible to me that it has been proven that it is a false complaint and this lady has not been arrested yet," said Ricardo Álvarez-Osorio, the defendant's lawyer.

"There is no objective situation of risk for the complainant that justifies the adoption of the precautionary measure concerned," the judge reported, as Vozpópuli revealed. But it is not the first time that Cándido Conde-Pumpido has been involved in legal problems.

In 2015 he was involved, in some way, in the Pokémon case. That year, some emails sent by the lawyer to her investigating judge came to light, encouraging her to ignore this. "She offers her influence in the General Council of the Judiciary to get her the transfer she wanted," they said in the program Let's see.

A few years later, in 2019, the name of Conde-Pumpido Jr. once again made all the headlines. The lawyer had to testify for alleged money laundering in a brothel in Madrid. "Apparently he received card payments from clients in exchange for a commission. He denies the facts, and finally, after the judicial investigation, the case against him is filed."

But that is not all. In September 2022, the son of the president of the Constitutional Court was arrested for allegedly threatening a person who owed money to one of his clients with a compressed air gun, according to some witnesses, as revealed by OK Diario.

A case that saw its seriousness increase when a twelve-centimeter kitchen knife was found during the police search. Something that they wanted to make clear was to cut the sausage that the lawyer had in the car.

Three judicial problems from which he would have emerged unscathed. Conde-Pumpido's current lawyer, despite not having handled those cases, wanted to make it clear in the aforementioned program. "I do know, because I have a personal relationship with him, that the cases he has had, if I am not mistaken, have been archived," he assured.
