On the other hand, Manuel remains suspicious about the intentions of Jimena, who seems to recover from her relapse surprisingly quickly. The young woman has decided to join Cruz to go against Manuel's wishes, proposing a honeymoon to Rome to get closer to her husband.
Cruz has one goal in mind: find Catalina a husband. The Marchioness has confronted her stepdaughter, making it clear that she is old enough to get married, something the young woman refuses. Unfortunately, it's all part of a master plan between Cruz and the Count of Añil, who wants to get rid of Catalina.
