Official Mediaset sources deny the possible signing of Cristina Pedroche

It could have been the surprise signing of the season, but for now Cristina Pedroche seems like she will stay at home, at Atresmedia. Official Mediaset sources have denied to La Vanguardia that any agreement is being developed between the communication group and the presenter, as some rumors have suggested for a few hours in some media outlets.

Although the dance of journalists and collaborators between Mediaset and Atresmedia has been non-stop for several months, that will not be - for the moment - the case of Vallecas, which will continue to be linked to Atresmedia.

The information was made public by RAC1 journalist Rocco Steinhäuser, who confirmed that the presenter had received a tempting offer that would lead her to present more than one program per season for the Fuencarral group. A bombshell that would move Pedroche from the network after more than a decade linked to Antena3 and LaSexta.

According to the journalist, the presenter is currently earning around 400,000 euros plus extras each year for her work at Atresmedia. However, she would be dissatisfied with her role in the group, since she has not had a successful project for some years, despite having hosted her own programs (Password).

The presenter is one of the star figures of the network, having been chosen for ten years to present its famous Chimes. An event that according to Steinhäuser would be included in the alleged offer that in the end does not turn out to be such, as well as being a presenter of Survivors and another primetime program. All this, with an alleged scandal salary.

Of course, the chances of Pedroche agreeing to go to Honduras for three months are rather slim, since after becoming a mother, she is totally focused on her daughter Laia. The presenter has created an unbreakable bond with her little girl, so it is unlikely that he would go to the other side of the world without her.

It must be said that he would not be the first television star to jump the network. At the time, Ana Rosa Quintana (from Atresmedia to Mediaset) or María Teresa Campos (from Mediaset to Atresmedia) already did it. The last one, Sonsoles Onega, whose signing took place in just a few hours and went on to become the star of Atresmedia's afternoons.

In the case of collaborators, figures such as Laura Fa, Gema López, Pilar Vidal and Paloma García-Pelayo have found their place at Atresmedia; But other media professionals such as Lydia Lozano, Terelu Campos, Rocío Carrasco and Alba Carrillo also seem to have found a new home in La1.
