Norma Duval has gone ahead with her birthday wishes to Julio Iglesias, who will turn 80 on September 23. "Congratulations to my dear Julio on his birthday. The most important and international artist and Spaniard of the century," Duval wrote on his Instagram account, a text accompanied by an old photo in which both appeared.
However, Iglesias was not born on September 13, but the correct date was September 23, as dozens of followers reminded him. "I think it's the 23rd," answered one. "Julio Iglesias' birthday is September 23," another reminded him.
Soon, the presenter corrected the error and modified the initial text to the following: "Congratulations to my dear Julio on his birthday this coming September 23rd. On the 19th, a tribute in Lazos de Sangre. The artist and the most important Spaniard and international of the century".
