A Podemos councilor receives Letizia dressed in a Republican flag

Queen Letizia met this Thursday with a living republican flag, when greeting her arrival at the Gran Teatro de Córdoba, where the central act of the third stage of the Talent Tour of the Princess of Girona Foundation was held. Among those attending the event was the councilor and spokesperson for Podemos in the Córdoba city council, Cristina Pedrajas, who has worn a tricolor, red, yellow and purple dress emulating the Republican flag, as well as an equally tricolor pendant. She has placed herself in the greeting line and has shaken hands with Queen Letizia, who has reacted completely normally.

Pedrajas announced last October his intention not to run in his party's primaries to run for mayor of Córdoba in the next municipal elections. At the time of her resignation, she said that she wanted to return to her job as a secondary school teacher: "I want to finish my term and return to my institute with my students. This job burns a lot, physically and psychologically. I prefer to retire as a teacher and not as a politician." .

To attend this event, the Queen has released a very spring model from the Seville firm Cayro, whose website describes the multicolored print design as "midi dress in printed crepe fabric, gathered band details on the upper part, adjustable lacing on the back ring waist, gathered sleeves, lining in the lower part of the back and invisible zip". It is on sale online for 96.90 euros and from size S to XL. A pair of pink shoes and a handbag from Magrit have completed the look, with a nod to the Cordovan goldsmiths, as she has worn filigree earrings that in 2005, on her first visit to Córdoba as princess of Asturias, were given to her by the Association of Jewelers Saint Eloi.
