A new Wednesday and a new night full of dates on the quintessential love show on television. First Dates has opened the doors of its restaurant for single men and women to try to find love or at least someone with whom they can start a beautiful friendship.
Silvia is 62 years old and comes from Barcelona. She considers herself a person with a strong soon. ''I'm not dangerous but I take a bad ostia and ignore you,'' she declared. In love she has not had much luck. ''I haven't had the right people to know how to get along with me,'' she confessed. She wanted a nice, handsome man.
Carlos is 64 years old and comes from Girona. '' I get carried away by everyone, I'm a henpecked '', he said. The first reaction has not been especially good. ''When I've seen Carlos, something has thrown me back, the fact that he has a belly, that's because he doesn't take care of himself,'' she assured.
The date began with the two talking about their professions. He's always been into a bar, until he got into a pest control company. He has now retired. She is a nurse and is afraid that when she retires she will run out of things to do. Carlos explained that he no longer has that much to live for. Something with which the single did not agree. ''I have a young spirit,'' she said.
Carlos confessed that he goes to the gym three times a week. "Now that he has seen his 'pot belly', he goes to the gym," said the single woman. As for his love relationships, Carlos said that all his partners were with him for money. ''I liked Latinas,'' he said. He also told that he has always been with younger girls. ''At 24 and 26 years old,'' he confessed. ''But where are you going? You're a cougar,'' she told him.
The two have spent an entertaining evening but have not had a connection to start a relationship. Carlos wants a sincere person who doesn't play with him. ''He wants a girlfriend, what a desire for a girlfriend,'' she commented. After being with so many young girls he wanted someone his age. She however wanted someone younger. In the final decision, the two have agreed that they did not want to have another date.
