Two out of every ten people who go through Cáritas de Girona's training and job placement programs find work. Of these, three out of four are women and 44% are for cleaning work.
In cases where there is an intermediation between companies and people looking for work, the insertion percentage rises to 50.
These are some of the data that emerge from the 2023 socio-labor insertion report. However, the entity warns that more and more single-parent families are encountering difficulties in accessing the world of work and that, in many cases, finding or having Work does not guarantee escape from social exclusion. Last year they served 1,370 people.
