A bachelor from 'First Dates' makes a huge mistake and his date doesn't forgive him: ''It was ugly''

First Dates is about to celebrate eight years on television. The legendary Cuatro dating show will celebrate its eighth anniversary this coming Monday, April 15, with a very special installment that will not leave anyone indifferent. Until then, viewers of the dating-show can enjoy a new round of dates every night with all kinds of outcomes.

Two of the protagonists of Thursday night were Lucas and Rocío. The 37-year-old Canarian bachelor arrived at the restaurant with one of his paintings to impress his date. In addition, the bachelor was willing to put an end to the cliché that assures that artists "are weird." ''I'm a normal person,'' he clarified. He defined himself as a person with character and hyperactive, despite giving a completely opposite impression.

His date was Rocío, a 29-year-old Canary Islander who arrived with a rose under her arm to give to her date. ''My friends tell me that I don't value myself and that I don't look for what I deserve,'' she said. She wanted to meet a hardworking, fun and funny guy. Moments later, the long-awaited meeting between the couple took place. ''You look very good, you are very pretty,'' said the bachelor. ''You too, I really like your hair,'' she commented. Furthermore, Lucas was very surprised to discover that Rocío had brought him a rose.

The evening began with the singles confessing how nervous they were and how much Rocío had liked the painting. ''I don't move much in that environment, so forgive me for not understanding much,'' she said. ''Normally, it is not understood, it is something conceptual and people can be moved by it, but the important thing is that I am super happy with my work,'' she said.

At one point during the evening, the single woman was shocked to learn that Lucas was eight years older than her and that he also had character. ''You seem so cordial and friendly,'' she assured. ''People who are very gentle, who get angry little, have strong characters and those who get irritated easily are weak character'', explained the canary.

However, the good understanding between the singles was not going to be present throughout the evening. The single woman confessed that none of the men who had passed through her life had emotional responsibility. ''Do you have emotional responsibility?'' She asked. ''I think so,'' Lucas responded. ''The last one I met told me that he did too and then he didn't have one,'' she asserted. However, the bachelor insisted that he was more than prepared to have a partner and children.

In the final stretch of the dinner, the singles half paid the bill and, before leaving the restaurant, Rocío was greatly disappointed with Lucas. And the bachelor left the rose that his date had brought him from Lanzarote forgotten, provoking Rocío's anger. ''It was ugly, but I understand that he could have been nervous and he could have forgotten, although it was a detail to take into account," he stated. Therefore, in the final decision, the single woman refused to have another date with him because I was convinced they weren't going to fit.
