Vox slams Olona to close the first crisis of the match

Vox's operation placing Macarena Olona as a candidate in the last Andalusian elections went wrong. The results reaped by the former deputy and the far-right formation were not as expected and Olona ended up leaving Andalusia after assuring that she had health problems. But the former deputy returned after the summer. She made the way to Santiago and launched a pulse to the party leadership to return to political activity, thus emerging the first great schism in the ultra-nationalist formation since she was born eight years ago.

If there was little chance that Olona could heal the wounds he left when he slammed the door on the leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, and left his seat in the Andalusian Parliament and the militancy in his party, what happened yesterday finished burying them.

Olona caused the end of the relationship with the party that raised her to the first political line with an incendiary interview in the ABC newspaper, in which she referred to Vox as an "exclusive" party, with a "lack of internal democracy", while time that was undone in criticism of the general secretary of the party, Javier Ortega Smith. In addition, she justified in said interview that she has already made a decision – without revealing it – about her political future.

Vox wasted no time in defenestrating her, without waiting for the conversation that she herself had requested to have with Abascal. “In view of the damage that is being done through it, what we can say is that this is definitely the end of the road; We wish her the best politically and she will always have us, and me personally, at her disposal for any personal matter, ”said the spokesman for the formation Iván Espinosa de los Monteros.

Olona abandoned his seat in Andalusia, the militancy in Vox and politics for health reasons, an argument that the party questions. In fact, Abascal has already slipped doubts about him in recent pronouncements and within the formation his miraculous recovery is commented with sarcasm.

Some voices in the party are condescending towards the former deputy because they consider that "she is being used to harm Vox". "What is happening with her causes enormous pain to those of us who are fond of her," the Vox spokesman insisted on apologizing.

In the ultra training they say that the former deputy is being poorly advised or directly manipulated by the people she surrounds herself with. They point out that she has been flirting with certain circles that are encouraging her to create a party or a new political movement with which to provoke a possible split in Vox.

The truth is that Olona has denied such intentions, but she lavishes herself in public forums. The public announcement of his recovery is joined by his latest appearances: this month at the University of Granada to give a lecture on Law; today, in Murcia, about the State of alarm that Vox appealed and that the Constitutional Court ended up knocking down, and another that he will give on Monday in Seville together with former banker Mario Conde, with whom he has been seen.

His political career seems not to have come to an end.
