Last year, a total of 56 deaths were recorded nationwide, seven more than the previous year, while in Andalusia the number of sexist crimes rose to 16. She is the third woman killed by gender violence in Andalusia in 2024, after the murder of a 49-year-old woman in the Malaga municipality of Pizarra, who was shot by her ex-partner in the middle of the street, was confirmed on March 18.
