The dawn of the three rocks of the Mar Menuda

These photographs in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos correspond to the Cala de la Mar Menuda in Tossa de Mar, in the La Selva region.

We arrived a while before sunrise with the aim of showing the sun rising between the three rocks that are to the left of the cove.

One of the images of the sunrise in the Cala de la Mar Menuda is from that exact moment and the other two from a while later, around 8:30 am.

When we arrived, the temperature was 5°, the sea was quite rough and there were low clouds but not at sea level, which allowed us to capture the sunrise. Shortly afterward it was covered by the increase in cloudiness.

The rock formation surrounds a small cove that is popularly known as Sa banyera de ses dones, which is shallow.
