The attractions of visiting Puig-agut

Today, in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia, we are in the sanctuary of Puig-agut, a neo-Gothic hermitage located within the municipality of Manlleu, in the region of Osona.

During the weekend and even on a cold day, around the sanctuary we can find visitors of all ages taking a walk, as well as a notable coming and going of cars arriving and leaving this emblematic place.

Although what we will notice when we are around the sanctuary is the privileged views of the surrounding environment. And, among others, we can see the Montseny mountain, the Guilleries, the Santuari dels Munts or towns like Roda de Ter.

But even among the relative bustle of people moving around and the large number of things to see, we can stop and relax while we eat at the restaurant located in the same sanctuary.

If we have to sit on the terrace and we haven't realized it yet, from this location we can see some beautiful stairs made of stone. Precisely, on these stones, we can find drawn with pebbles some of the hermitages that we can find around.

So once we have walked, seen the beautiful views, the staircase and eaten, we only have to see some animals that this sanctuary has, fenced and a little away from the general views: chickens, geese, among others.

In short, if this place is known it is for the calm that it exudes, the good views, the peculiar hermitage, for its easy accessibility and for the large number of times that this place has appeared on meteorological programs.

Thus, on this day that I took the photographs, it was cloudy and the visibility was not the best due to the fog, it was undoubtedly a good choice to go visit Puig-agut.
