Francisco Franco will be the next mayor of the Encinarejo Autonomous Local Entity, which will be the first mayoralty of the Abascal party in the province of Córdoba.
His name has drawn a lot of attention on social networks for coinciding with that of the Spanish dictator. However, his colleagues refer to him as Paco Franco, and he has been elected by far surpassing the PP, which had been governing for several terms. Thus, Vox has obtained 407 votes this 28M while the popular ones obtained 265.
For its part, the PSOE has been very close to the PP in this local entity with 253 ballots, only 12 fewer residents giving it support, and citizens have obtained 122.
Paco Franco, has shown his gratitude through the website of his party in Córdoba and has assured that "he has lived politics in the ELA of Encinarejo since he was very young, since my father was deputy mayor for several years like my uncle and I have thought of him a lot during this campaign" and he added that, "now we have to work hard for the residents of Encinarejo, who already know, they have always had me at their disposal, now also as mayor".
Now Francisco Franco will be at the service of his Holm oak neighbors, some 1,654 according to the latest information from the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
This is the first time that his party has won a mayoralty in Cordoba, for which the president of VOX in Córdoba, Rafael Saco, has thanked Francisco Franco, Paco, for "all the effort made during this campaign."
