Valencia CF confirmed this Monday the death of a fan who had to be evacuated this Sunday from the stands of Mestalla in the final stretch of the match against Real Madrid and conveyed its condolences to his family and friends.
"We deeply regret the sad news of the death of the Valencian supporter," says the club in a message on social networks that he accompanies with a black bow.
The entity explains that the fan was evacuated from Mestalla and transferred to the nearby Clinical Hospital but could not recover and died. “A huge hug and a lot of strength for his family and friends. DEP”, ends the message.
This is the second similar situation that has taken place in Mestalla in a few months, since last January another fan suffered a cardiac arrest in the match against Cádiz that caused his death.
