Tour de France 2023 | Route, schedule and where to see the third stage on TV

The 110th edition of the Tour de France, the longest running and most important cycling competition on the planet, continues with its tour of Spain, specifically in the Basque Country. The third stage of the Tour de France will cover 193.5 kilometers between Amorebieta-Etxano and Bayonne.

The closing of the third stage in Basque territory will finally transfer to France, specifically in Bayonne. It is expected that, finally, the first sprint of the competition will take place. This happens despite the obvious challenges that the course presents: arduous terrain, with four category 3 and 4 climbs concentrated in the first 100 kilometres, which is sure to test the stamina and skill of each cyclist.

The winner of the previous stage, which was marked by the presence of thumbtacks, was Victor Lafay, who broke the 15-year drought in the Tour de France for the Cofidis team in San Sebastián. Adam Yates remains first overall, with Tadej Pogacar hot on his heels.

The 2023 Tour de France will continue this Monday, July 3, at 1:00 p.m., from Amorebieta-Etxano, with a flat stage in which the riders will cover 193.5 kilometers. The conference can be seen on television on RTVE and can also be followed live on the La Vanguardia website.
