The 2024 Spanish Pump Track Championship will be held in Torrevieja

The city of Torrevieja (Alicante) will host the 2024 Spanish BTT Pump Track Championship and the Spanish Cup in November next year, as approved in its last meeting by the Delegate Commission of the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC). .

In a statement, the Department of Sports has reported that these tests will be held in the bike park located in the La Siesta park on November 3 of next year and that the most outstanding cyclists from the Cup's scoring events will participate in them. of Spain that will be held throughout 2024.

Specifically, the Spanish Cup, thanks to the outstanding evolution experienced by this type of cycling, will have six scoring events in 2024: April 21 – Spanish Pump Track Cup G. P. Marina Port Premiá – Premiá de Mar (Barcelona) ; April 27 – 2nd Pump Track City of Monzón Trophy – Monzón (Huesca); and on May 25 – Spanish Pump Track Cup – Zona Zero – Ainsa (Huesca).

It will continue on June 22 – Pump Track Mondariz Spanish Cup – Pump Track Mondariz (Pontevedra); on June 30 – Otívar Spanish Pump Track Cup – Otívar (Granada) and on September 15 – Spanish Pump Track Cup – Huercal de Almería (Almería).

The Torrevieja pump track is the largest completely paved track in the world, with an area of ​​4,200 square meters divided into three levels: specialist/advanced, intermediate and children.

The course has a longitudinal surface of 300 meters for the advanced track, 180 meters for the intermediate track and 60 meters for the children's track.
