The clouds are the protagonists of this Thursday day as indicated by the Meteorological Service of Catalonia (Meteocat). In general the sky will be overcast or very cloudy throughout the Catalan territory, and until mid-morning weak and isolated precipitation is not ruled out in the extreme northeast of Catalonia, which from the afternoon could occur in the extreme west of the country.
However, Barcelona will be free of these rains which, in many parts of the peninsular territory, will occur in the form of mud. According to Meteocat forecasts, clouds will be present throughout this day, on Friday and also on Saturday.
Of course, although at some moments the sky would open a little. Furthermore, contrary to what is usual at this time of year, Barcelona will reach 17 degrees in temperature.
Visibility in general will be good or excellent, although on the coast and pre-coastal it could range between good and fair, becoming locally poor until the morning and again from the evening. During the early morning, locally fair visibility is also expected in lower inland areas.
Both during the morning and at the end of the day, the wind is expected to be light and variable in its direction in general, with the southern component predominating on the northern coast.
For the rest of the day, wind is expected from the south and east, with light to moderate intensity in general, although strong gusts could be recorded on the northern coast and pre-coast, as well as in points in the interior of the Ebro valley in the afternoon.
Although Barcelona will reach a maximum temperature of 17 degrees, the mercury will rise a little more in other parts of the territory. Santa Coloma de Farners will reach 22 degrees, while Girona, La Bisbal de l'Empordà or Figueres will remain at 21.
The upward trend in temperatures will continue throughout Friday and Saturday, and possibly also on Sunday, pending confirmation.
