The nice sequence of a scallop swimming in the sea: "Its only thought is 'glup glup'"

The Internet is a place full of opportunities where every day we find videos, photographs and stories that excite us, fill us with hope and fascinate us. One of the most popular areas on the Internet is that related to the animal world, which shows us surprising videos every week.

This is the case of the sequence of a scallop that an X user (formerly Twitter) shared. In the clip, the bivalve moves along the seabed in a unique way, something that has left more than one user speechless.

After watching the video shared by @gunsnrosesgirl3 on X, several users have been captivated by the movement of the mollusk, and it is surprising that this animal possesses this ability.

Although it may not seem like it, clams and scallops are capable of moving by shaking their shells and using a jet of water that propels them. There are land animals that also surprise with their ability to function in water, such as elephants, giraffes and cows.

Scallops, clams and oysters are a species of bivalve. These live on seabeds or soft freshwater underground, being protected and looking for the necessary food. Likewise, some are found immediately below the surface and others can reach greater depths.

In a matter of days, the video has gone viral, accumulating more than 40 million views and all kinds of reactions from users who have been left speechless by this clam: “Look at her, how cute, how nice, I'm sure she's great, her only thought is glup glup " or "So SpongeBob's clams were pretty accurate" have been some of the most popular comments.
