For today, the influence of high pressures is expected to continue. However, on the Atlantic slope, northeast and the Balearic Islands, cloudy skies or cloudy intervals are expected at first, mainly low clouds, with probable precipitation in western Galicia. Scattered and occasionally, they can occur in other areas of the northwest and northeast.
There will be evolving cloudiness in the interior, with probable showers in Catalonia without ruling them out, separately, in other areas of the northwest third and the Pyrenees. The situation will become less as the day progresses.
For this Thursday, an increase in maximum temperatures is expected on the western Atlantic slope, the Mediterranean area and the midlands of the Canary Islands. The minimum temperatures will also rise and the frosts will be restricted to the Pyrenees although, individually, they may occur in other mountain systems in the northern and southeastern half.
During the next few days, stable weather will persist and with temperatures that will continue to "progressively rise" until reaching or exceeding, starting on Saturday, 22-25 degrees in cities such as Malaga, Toledo, Alicante, Córdoba, Bilbao, Huelva or Valencia. There will be around 26 degrees in Seville and even locally 28 degrees in Murcia.
For Sunday, the agency foresees a "new rise in temperatures" that will favor the range of values between 5 and 10 degrees above normal for the time of year to extend to most of the territory.
That day the maximum temperatures will again reach or exceed 25 degrees in Albacete, Bilbao, Ourense, Ciudad Real, Zaragoza and Teruel; Badajoz 27 degrees, and in Seville, Córdoba, Granada or Jaén 28 degrees and the city of Murcia even 30 degrees.
