The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts a "dry" week with little significant rainfall in the extreme north of the peninsula and temperatures above normal in the southern half of the peninsula and the Canary Islands. In the rest of the country, especially in the extreme north, a considerable drop in thermometers is expected.

For this Monday, there will be sunny skies in almost the entire country, except in the extreme north of the peninsula, where rain and even some storms are expected. For this reason, the yellow notice has been activated in Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia.

The possibility of some showers or storms is also expected, more likely and intense in the interior of the southeast, where they could be locally strong, and very unlikely in the west and in the Mediterranean area.

Temperatures will drop in the northern half of the peninsula and the eastern half of the Canary Islands, notably the daytime temperatures in the extreme north of the peninsula. The maximum temperatures will not exceed 20 degrees in Bilbao, San Sebastián, Logroño, Pamplona, Oviedo or Coruña.

Instead, they will climb the southern third of the Peninsula. In Murcia and Seville, they will reach 31 degrees. They will stay close in Málaga (29), Granada (29), Jaén (28) and Cáceres (28). In the rest, no changes are expected, according to the agency's forecast.

According to Aemet, the wind will blow light or moderate with a northerly component in the northwest half of the peninsula and light variable in general in the rest.

Starting Tuesday and at least until Thursday, the Peninsula will have a cool and even cold environment for the time of year in the northern third of the Peninsula due to the flow of northerly winds. Snowfall in some mountain areas and rainfall are also not ruled out, although limited to the north of the country.
