"We understand that some people have doubts about this, but we really believe that we defend the same values as in 2017: betting and working intensely for coexistence and reunion between Catalans and Spaniards."
The leader has expressed what is now a “clear, explicit and shared position between the PSC and the PSOE” in favor of the amnesty, which in her opinion “evidence that we are the best guarantee for territorial cohesion and to continue working for the reunion, normality and cordiality in Catalonia and Spain.” And to try to address any doubts that may exist among militancy or socialist voters, Moret has insisted that "we are clear that the amnesty has to be deployed within the constitutional framework."
But the consultation among the militancy that is already underway only questions the government pact with Sumar and not the amnesty.
