The PP calls another demonstration against the cessions to the pro-independence parties

Let the Spanish make it clear that "this country is not being extorted by anyone". With this aim, the PP will once again call on citizens to take to the streets, on Sunday 28 January, to protest against the agreements between the Spanish Government and Junts.

A mobilization that Alberto Núñez Feijóo started against the amnesty agreement and that is part of the "political, social and judicial offensive" that the PP will develop in the coming days. An "non-stop and non-stop" offensive, said the president of the PP, which aims to denounce the "extortion" of a party to the Government of Spain. And with a warning, when the PP has a majority in Congress it will put an end to "the looting and extortion" and will reverse "the destruction" caused by agreements it considers "unacceptable, illegal and immoral".

The mobilization in the street is part of the social offensive, but in the political field the PP has already requested the appearance of the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, to give an account of the agreements between his Executive and Junts and to explain , among other issues, whether the transfer of immigration will be carried out to other communities. In addition, he will present motions to regional parliaments and town councils, so that "all political representatives have their say".

In the judicial field, the PP has already announced an appeal of unconstitutionality against the omnibus decree-law validated in Congress, which refers to judicial issues, since some of its aspects will not be effective until 2025, and yet they are regulated through a decree law, which is reserved for matters of urgent need.

Feijóo, who yesterday appeared in front of the media in a press conference to announce these initiatives, also considered it inadmissible for the Central Government to renounce the transposition of a European directive because Junts considers that it makes it more difficult to implement the amnesty

On the other hand, Feijóo has given instructions to the legal team of the PP to "evaluate to the last comma both the approved decrees and the agreements", to explore all the resources that can be interposed, especially when the transfer of immigration powers, which according to Feijóo is a "constitutional capitulation".

The head of the opposition says that this competence involves the control of borders and the granting of visas and work permits, which, in addition, would mean, he believes, the disappearance of the National Police of Catalonia.

The president of the PP used very harsh words against Pedro Sánchez, who he considered "a delegate in Spain of the government" led by Carles Puigdemont from Waterloo, who "laughs", says Feijóo, at "the mess he has made in the nation he swore to defeat". For now, according to Feijóo, the ex-president "has defeated and humiliated the Government". You can still hear "the laughter at Waterloo after bringing the Spanish Government to its knees", he said.

Feijóo believes that the agreement also brings the Generalitat to its knees, since it agrees to transfer immigration without negotiating it with the Government of Pere Aragonès, which will have to manage it. "A fugitive from justice acts as president of the Generalitat", he said.

Of course, Feijóo doubts that the transfer will take place, because it would go against the Constitution and the treaties of the European Union, and this makes him believe that Sánchez and Puigdemont are in a race "to see who deceives whom".
