Ponsatí: "It is uncomfortable to have to dodge blowflies, but I am not going to give up my agenda to a fanatic"

The Junts MEP and former Minister Clara Ponsatí has assured this Tuesday that she will return to Spain when things are going well for her and not when the Supreme Court (TS) magistrate Pablo Llarena wants it, who last week issued a national arrest warrant against his person: "It's awkward having to dodge blowflies, but I'm not giving up my agenda to a fan."

This was stated in some messages on his Twitter account after Ponsatí canceled the presentation of his book at a bookstore in Lleida scheduled for this Tuesday. The former minister, who wanted to present her book in Lleida, taking advantage of the fact that she was going to visit Pablo Hasel in prison, added that she does not want to grant "another police circus" to Llarena.

In the same Twitter thread, the MEP added: "The arrest warrant is once again illegal. The Supreme Court judges want me to make a statement at their convenience, including electoral interests. I have another agenda right now. I will step on the territory where the police obey his orders when it suits me well", he highlighted.

Llarena issued a national arrest warrant against Ponsatí considering that he "voluntarily and unjustifiably" neglected his obligation to appear before the Supreme Court on April 24 to be notified of his prosecution for a crime of disobedience for the illegal referendum on October 1 of 2017.
