Míriam Nogueras, in favor of JxCat and ERC governing together where they add up

The head of the JxCat list in the general elections of 23J, Míriam Nogueras, has been in favor of her formation and ERC doing "a reset" in their relations and pacts, and that both parties govern together in the municipalities and other institutions where add majority. Nogueras has taken a position on municipal agreements and supra-municipal institutions in statements made to SER Catalunya.

According to the head of the JxCat list for Barcelona, "a reflection is needed because not everything has been done well" in the municipalities and councils in which both pro-independence parties -ERC and Junts- have preferred to agree on mayors and governments with the PSC instead to do it between them. "Surely there must be a 'reset'" in the relations between both parties "and where they can join and govern together, let's do it", added Míriam Nogueras.

For this JxCat candidate, "a rapprochement is needed, and it is being done", and she has given Barcelona as a "great example", where JxCat and ERC had agreed to govern the city. "But from Madrid it was decided again who would govern," she has argued.

Nogueras has underlined "the contradiction" in which, according to what he has said, the new mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni (PSC), has incurred, because in the campaign "he said that if he lost he would go to the opposition, and not only has he not done so, but he has needed the votes of the PP" to be able to access the mayoralty. "Stop kidding us, and if you commit to one thing, stick to it," Nogueras has reproached for whom, what happened in Barcelona is due to the fact that "Spain made Spain" to prevent the mayoralty from having the most voted, Xavier Trias (JxCat).

Regarding the general elections, Nogueras has reiterated that JxCat is clear that "it cannot invest Pedro Sánchez as president" after the elections, because "he has lied to his UP partners, to the Catalan parties that trusted him, since there is no agenda for the reunion, and because it does not pay" the money from the budgeted investments for Catalonia.

According to Nogueras, "2021 was the year with the lowest level of budget execution in the history of Catalonia", in contrast to the "high level of execution that occurred in Madrid". "It is a bad balance" that JxCat makes of the current PSOE-UP Government, and has indicated that "if we have the key, everything will change, the citizens of Catalonia will be fooled."
