The american golfer Kevin Chappell veered Friday record for most birdies in a row at a tournament on the PGA Tour.

At the tournament Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia, the UNITED states, made Chappell's nine birdies in a row.

It has only american Mark Calcavecchia managed before at the Canadian Open in 2009.

The record number of birdies gave Chappell a total score of incredible 59 strokes.

It is that only ten others before him, has managed at a tournament on the PGA Tour.

the Only american Jim Furyk have managed to go one round in 58 strokes at the PGA Tour. It happened at the tournament Travelers Championship in Cromwell, in 2016.

Chappell could have equaled Furyks record of 58 strokes, but on hole 11, there were Chappels last, smoke his birdieput just outside of the hole.

It was Chappells first tournament since a back operation.
