When the rapper Benjamin Sea on Friday, surprisingly threw a solo album on the street, it was with the promise that it was not a goodbye to producer Albert Wanscher, or the popular duo, Benal, as the two have created.
But in the morning, on Friday, released the rapper with yet another solo album.
It writes Politiken, and for the newspaper turns the hitmaker real, that he did not have in mind to make music together with his so far solid mate just preliminary.
- It is important for me to have something to initiate the conversation with. Therefore, there will be two albums now. It is the preface to what I hope will be a long tale. Together with Albert Wanscher has Benjamin Sea toppled Denmark with numbers like "Uh babe" and "Free" and received numerous awards for their musical prowess.
But for the last six years, Benjamin Hav been in the studio without his regular partner, but with names like Søren Huss, Nonsense, Zookeepers and Clara Sofie instead.
In a press release that was sent out in connection with the rapperens first solo release, it sounded otherwise, that the solo project was not to be seen as the end of Benal.
- This is not a goodbye to Albert or Benal. This is a gentle motion with the hip in a crowded elevator. I have made this solo album to finally meet my psykologs repeated calls to do something for little Benjamin.
