Rockets raining over Israel for killing of commander

AFP writes that the israeli army expects several days of fighting in the Gaza strip.

Immediately after the killing, announced Israel's military in a statement, prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu had approved the operation against the 42-year-old feltkommandøren.

Feltkommandøren, who was killed, accused Israel of being behind a series of attacks across the border recently with rockets, drones and snipers.

Abu Al-Atta was responsible for most of the Islamic Jihads activities in the Gaza strip and was a ticking time bomb, says the military.
