It then you are not on tv: Got investment, despite chaos

Vivian and Stephanie Seedorff impressed the lions, when mother and daughter on Thursday night presented the woman O'the TAY at the DR1-program 'Lion's den'.

They asked for 300.000 dollars for 12 percent of the company, but they ended up having to give 20 percent for the same amount to the Christian Arnstedt.

that is Why they ended with to lower their valuation of one million dollars, but it takes the not so heavy. It tells the Extra Leaf.

- We were the very start, when we did the valuation. But we thought it was important to get an investor who could contribute a lot - instead of getting the value set of a million higher, says Vivian Seedorff.

The two tøjskabere seemed confident and got praise for their pitch, but what tv viewers didn't get to see was that they far from had an optimal preparation to the participation.

- Our day before was a bit chaotic. I am living in China, and I had a flight, so I landed in the evening, where we were leaving the next day. But when I landed in Beijing, my flight to Copenhagen was cancelled, and I didn't know when I'll be able to come up with the next, tells Stephanie, and continues:

- So we knew not whether we could get away to the recording. We had fat in the 'Lion's den' to see if we could move it, because we did not believe that I got with a aircraft in a timely manner. But I did luckily.

Therefore, she came to Denmark the evening before the 'Lion's den'-participation, and mother and daughter had to practice their pitch via Skype and on the way to the filming.

- But I think it went really, really well. We were there in 35 minutes, so there is much that will be clipped away and don't come with. We are satisfied, and we could not have done it better in the day, says Stephanie.

It is not the first time that Vivian and Stephanie have tried to start something up together. Then run it all out in the sand before it really got started.

- We had tried for seven years ago with a production in Turkey, where I had an acquaintance in Odense, which could help with it. It ended up not being anything, and you just got a mavepuster and thought: 'Arh, okay. Maybe I'll wait a bit,' says Stephanie.

In the spring of 2018, they felt, however, that they had waited long enough, and therefore, put the time in the preparatory work for O'TAY.

Stephanie lived in China and met his girlfriend, and together they began to look for newsagents and test material.

She used a year's time to find the right producers with the product and the working conditions, we would like to have. It should not be child labour and such. It should be decent places, and we should be able to vouch for it, says Vivian, before Stephanie takes over:

- in any case It is important to me, and I visits them a few times a month. It provides much of the company, and it is a good constellation, I live out there, she says.

It was Christian Arnstedt agree, and the two entrepreneurs are happy that they have got him on board.

- We had no expectations before participating, but we had hopes that an investor would find our business interesting. And it was the best match we could ever wish for, they say, about the lion and his team, which already stood to make big changes in the shop at O'TAY.
