Son Nicoló Zaniolo changed in the summer of 2018 from Inter to wolfsburg, and has so far played 52 matches for the hovedstadsklubben. His father is the former striker Igor Zaniolo. He never played at a higher level than Serie B, and the expectations for the 20-year-old Nicoló is therefore somewhat greater.
He had already debut on Italy's A-national team earlier in the year, and it has until now been to five matches. On Monday he scored for the first time, since it was to two goals in a 9-1 nedsablingen against Armenia.
