The Spanish violinist of Lebanese origin and Armenian descent Ara Malikian is the first confirmed artist on the poster for the new Suite Festival 2023. The artist will be in charge of opening the concert cycle on March 2, 2023 at the Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona , and tickets for this show are already on sale for La Vanguardia subscribers, who have a 10% discount, as long as they are purchased at Entradas de Vanguardia.
Organized by Clipper's Live, the Suite Festival will return in 2023 with "a new concept and a completely renewed image, expanding the musical genres and offering an eclectic line-up with top-level national and international artists," the festival announced this Friday.
In this first concert, Ara Malikian will return to Barcelona with The Ara Malikian World Tour. After the success of tour 15, one of the biggest in recent years, and the latest Royal Garage and Pequeño Garage, Malikian will once again take the Liceu stage with a proposal that he himself defines as "the result of seeing my son and my growth at his side; an encounter with the child that I could not be and would have dreamed of being".
The festival will reach the main concert halls of Barcelona, as well as other cities in the Catalan territory. The organization of the Suite Festival will soon confirm the artists who will join the poster of the concert series for the 2023 edition.
