A 45-year-old man died this Thursday in the capital of Leon after having suffered a heart attack at the wheel of his car, which ended up colliding with three other vehicles and a pump at a gas station in the Eras de Renueva neighborhood.
The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. this Thursday when the driver, who was driving along Cruz Roja Avenue in León, lost control of his vehicle as a result of the heart attack he was suffering, the Firefighters of Leon at the scene of the accident.
The vehicle has jumped the median and has crashed into one of the pumps of the gas station that is located on the other side of the street, with four traffic lanes. As a result of the blow, the driver has been trapped inside the vehicle in which he remained unconscious.
He has had to be released by the León Fire Department and resuscitation maneuvers have been carried out on him, already on the ground, by several agents of the Local and National Police who have traveled to the place.
The Sacyl toilets have also continued the maneuvers, which have sent an ambulance to the place and also a forensic team that has certified the death of the man at the scene of the event. Sources from 112 have specified that the deceased is the only person who has been injured in an accident that has caused numerous material damages at the gas station and in three vehicles that were there.
