A 67-year-old woman is in potentially serious condition after falling from the roof of her house, located in the Madrid town of Galapagar, from a height of about five meters, Emergencies 112 of the Community of Madrid has reported.
112 received an emergency call at 12:36 p.m. alerting that a woman had suffered a domestic accident at her home, located on Prado Largo street in Galapagar.
Apparently, the owner of the home was doing some repair work on the roof of the house, which is a two-story detached house.
The fall occurred from the upper area and was cushioned thanks to the fact that it first hit a roof of the house itself and then against a vehicle that was inside the premises itself.
The woman has a possible fracture in her wrist and a lumbar contusion.
After being stabilized by the Summa 112 healthcare workers, she was transferred to the Puerta de Hierro Hospital in Majadahonda with a potentially serious prognosis.
Agents from the municipality's Local Police and the Civil Guard have worked in the area.
