The Abbey Road tribute band returns to Barcelona with 'The Beatles Show'

More than 50 years have passed since the last concert of the band formed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. A formation that has returned to the present with the commented release of Now and Then, the song that appeared last November thanks to the use of artificial intelligence and that recovers a recording by Lennon at the end of the 70s. Now this recovered song can be heard live along with other hits from the Liverpool band at The Beatles Show, the show by the Abbey Road tribute band, which will combine technology with the essentials of the Beatles this Saturday at the Teatre Cúpula Arenas in Barcelona.

After more than 2,000 performances in its 30 years of experience, Abbey Road has become one of the most prestigious tribute bands of the British group, and  The Beatles Show, the show that this group has presented since 2020, demonstrates this. Songs like Hey Jude, I want to hold your hand, Yesterday or Let It be, can be heard accompanied by lights and visual projections of the classic Liverpool band. In addition, the band has four costumes that represent the different stages of the British, and which are shown in the two-hour show where they review a good part of The Beatles' career.

With Jordi Expósito as John Lennon, Adrián Ghiardo as Paul McCartney, Ferrán Corbalán as Georges Harrison and Carlos Moreno as Ringo Starr, the group that performed at the Barcelona Olympic Games will play some of The Beatles' most emblematic songs in a show for all. audiences, and that remembers the legacy of one of the greatest bands in the history of music.

The presentation of Abbey Road on December 16 is part of the special Christmas programming organized by Teatre Cúpula. The Beatles tribute will be joined by the tribute to David Bowie (December 21), Frank Sinatra (December 28), Queen (December 29), Abba (December 31) and will end with the presentation of the tribute to Elvis Presley, next January 6th.
