Estrella Galicia once again launches a special edition to pay tribute to Catalonia. Under the motto "Una cervesa per gaudir d'oest a est" ("A beer to enjoy from west to east") the brand wants to celebrate the cultural connection between the west and east of the Peninsula. According to the Galician brewery, “two very different lands but united by the love of their culture, gastronomy and good beer.”
The artist Yubia, a native of Bilbao, but resident in Catalonia, has been the illustrator, muralist and graffiti artist who has designed the label of this limited edition. This artist is known for her ability to fuse graffiti with naive forms, creating a unique mix of colors and characters. This time, Yubia has illustrated the historical and cultural links between both regions, representing the traditions and essence of each one and giving the label nods to everything that unites them.
Laura Piñeiro, Brand Manager of Estrella Galicia, comments: "With this special edition, we want to pay tribute to the great cultural diversity of our country, specifically everything that makes Catalonia unique. Through the exceptional talent of Yubia, this edition becomes in recognition of everything that makes Catalonia a special land, from its coasts to its legends and, of course, the art that floods every corner of its cities.”
The special edition of Estrella Galicia for Catalunya 2024 will be available in the main hospitality establishments in the community, where more than five million 33cl and 20cl bottles can be purchased that carry the art of Yubia and the essence of the union between Catalonia and Galicia .
