Bosco and Olivia, the dogs looking for a common home to spend Christmas

In the Galician village of Tomiño in Pontevedra, the moving love story between two dogs, Bosco and Olivia, has managed to penetrate the hearts of those who have been fortunate enough to know their emotional journey. This story, reminiscent of an improved version of "Lady and the Tramp", was revealed during the last edition of the Feira do Nadal, an event organized by the Protectora do Morrazo with the aim of promoting the responsible adoption of abandoned dogs .

The couple of furry lovers, who have faced adversity on the streets of Tomiño, are now searching for a cozy home, with the particular condition that they must be adopted together, since their bond is inseparable.

The surrounding forest became their refuge, and any old shed was considered the ideal place to raise the litters of puppies that, one after another, they brought into the world. Despite the efforts of the neighbors to take care of the puppies, the lack of sterilization contributed to complicating the situation, finally bringing them to the attention of the Protectora do Morrazo.

The protector, upon learning of the situation, deployed its efforts for the rescue. Using the puppies as bait, they managed to capture Olivia, the mother. However, Bosco, Olivia's loyal companion, was not captured immediately, plunging her mother into palpable sadness. The exciting reunion between Bosco and Olivia, three days later, at the shelter's shelter, was described by Pilar Perille, president of the Cadeliños Association, as a "movie meeting", filled with effusive gestures of affection.

Despite Bosco's sociability, who attracted the attention of potential adopters, Olivia, being more reserved, required more time to adapt to her new environment. The couple remained at the Moaña shelter with their last litter of puppies. However, as the little ones found loving new homes, Bosco and Olivia were left behind, depending on each other to find comfort in their situation.

Currently, the couple is at the facilities of the Cadeliños Association, in Barro. Perille hopes that both of them will find a home before the arrival of Christmas, where they can continue together and receive the affection of an adoptive family.
