The olive oil price crisis is leading many people to restrict its use or not buy more, in addition to seeing how in other countries they can buy the same product much cheaper than in Spain, where it is massively produced.
However, this is not the case in all places, since a Spanish woman has shown that in Germany olive oil is not really cheaper, even though everything now seems that way.
“The other day they showed me a video of a boy who went to check the price of oil in Ireland and it turns out that it is much cheaper than in Spain,” the young woman begins explaining on her TikTok.
“They have asked me to see what the price of oil is here in Germany, and I can tell you that it is much more expensive. I always say that supermarket prices in Germany are much more expensive than in Spain,” she explains.
The prices are devastating: 8 or 7 euros for half a liter of oil, which leaves the young woman speechless: "If in Spain a liter of oil is 8 euros, here for the same price we have half of it."
“From what I see in Ireland you can buy four bottles for the same price. Nothing, we have to be rich in Germany to be able to cook with oil”, the young woman resigns.
