"What an outrage!": Sonsoles Ónega jumps at the illegal recommendation of a collaborator for the 23-J elections

The call for general elections for next July 23 will disrupt the summer vacations of millions of citizens. For this reason, many have already asked to vote by mail in order not to lose a single day to enjoy the summer season. However, there is a part of the population that yes or yes will have to appear at the polling stations: they are those summoned to the polling station.

On this issue, which has generated so much concern since the announcement of the elections, the Sonsoles Ónega program did a gathering to clarify certain aspects. However, at one point, the presenter raised her hands to her head at the somewhat illegal recommendation of one of her regular collaborators.

"What happens if we are summoned to a polling station and we have paid vacations?" And now Sonsoles wonders this Wednesday after the call for electoral elections for next Sunday, July 23. One of the most concerned was Miguel Lago, who plans a trip to the Dominican Republic during those dates.

To answer this question, the program connected with Enrique García, spokesman for the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU), to whom the comedian sent the following notice before his intervention: "Enrique, think carefully about what you are going to say because I have to be in the Dominican Republic”.

From here, García explained that, until the Electoral Board confirms whether a vacation is considered a family celebration and sufficient reason not to appear at the polling station, the citizen has the obligation to go and cancel that trip.

Here, the lawyer Bárbara Royo, a regular contributor to the program, refuted this argument, assuring to what extent Miguel Lago's vacations with his wife and children are not a family celebration. A response that delighted the humorist. “My lawyer is speaking,” she said. In fact, the lawyer did not hesitate to make a recommendation to her partner, which was somewhat illegal.

"I recommend that you go on your trip with your children and your wife, that you do not go and that, if they give you a fine, we appeal because it is a blank law that can be appealed," he explained. To which Sonsoles Ónega immediately jumped, throwing her hands to her head and responding:

“But, what a barbarity, please, Bárbara Royo! Do not encourage… Now everyone will be calling his lawyer, whoever has it, and asking him… we will appeal… ”.
