This is 'Hand of Iron', the Netflix series that is set in the port of Barcelona

The seaport of Barcelona receives almost 6,000 containers a day. These are merchandise from all over the world that, in a single year, can hide more than 30,000 kg of cocaine, making Barcelona one of the most important gateways in Europe to the lucrative drug trafficking business. It is the starting point of Iron Hand, the thriller that Lluís Quílez signed after discovering the global success on Netflix with the film Bajocero and which can be seen on the platform on March 15.

The series features Chino Darín (The Kingdom), a recurring Netflix actor such as Jaime Lorente (La casa de papel, Élite), the Catalan Sergi López winner of a César award (Harry, a friend who loves you) and a trio of Goya winners such as Enric Auquer (breakthrough actor for Quien a Hiero Mata), Natalia de Molina (breakthrough actress for Living Is Easy with Your Eyes Closed and leading actress for Techo y Comida) and Eduard Fernández (who has a big head for best lead actor for Fausto 5.0 and two others as supporting actor for In the city and While the war lasts).

In Iron Hand, Fernández is Joaquín Manchado, owner of the port's main terminal. If someone wants to use the infrastructure to import an illegal cargo, they must have their collaboration and the support of the entire criminal network that has been formed around them. However, an unexpected accident and the disappearance of an important shipment of cocaine will unleash a ruthless war full of murders and revenge.

The thriller, which will have a first season of eight episodes, is produced by The Mediapro Studio and, for now, we have to settle for the trailer and these first promotional images.
