The “worst live connection” of a reporter from La Sexta due to the storm

Reporting on the natural disasters that plague our country can become a risky profession. With the arrival of a new cold drop to Spanish territory, the storm has led to different areas of the southern peninsula to suffer significant flooding. Among them, Huelva.

Some television reporters went there to report on what happened. However, a journalist from La Sexta has become a viral phenomenon for making “the worst live connection” in the history of La Roca. And it couldn't have been worse for Carla Álvarez: wind, rain, flying umbrella... It was all nonsense for this reporter in trouble.

It all happened on the La Roca program when its reporter, Carla Álvarez, reported from Huelva about the situation in which the region finds itself due to the strong storm of rain and wind due to the arrival of Storm Bernard.

As soon as the live connection began, after Nuria Roca and her partner Francisco Cacho gave way to him, Álvarez began to suffer the ravages of the strong gusts of wind and the incessant rain. So much so that he didn't get to say two words and his umbrella ended up broken by the wind.

“I've been saying for a while that I'm going viral on social media here,” the reporter joked while fighting the wind to keep her umbrella from bending. Added to this was the intensity of the rain, which did not stop falling and completely soaked the journalist.

“It is being very difficult to make this connection live. The torrent of water that is falling is such that the Football Federation has suspended the Recreativo de Huelva match. “It is the worst live connection I have ever made in my life,” he confessed, completely in trouble. On the other side, her colleagues encouraged her with: “It's not the worst connection, you're doing your job perfectly. Take cover.”
